If there is one ride you MUST do when you visit Epcot, it’s Soarin’.
In my opinion, it is the best ride at Epcot and is tame enough for the entire family. Soarin’ takes you on a virtual tour of California in a glider. You strap yourself in and before you know it, you’re soaring 40 feet in the air and gliding over some of California’s most recognizable landmarks. You’ll soar above the Golden Gate Bridge, Napa Valley, San Diego and Malibu just to name a few.
I cannot stress this enough though, as soon as you walk through the gates at Epcot, head straight to Soarin’ and get a FastPass right away. This is one of Epcot’s most popular attractions, and it’s not unusual to have a two hour or more wait.
This ride is great for the entire family. I have a huge motion sickness issue, so normally, I cannot ride any type of simulator ride because it makes me nauseous. For that reason, I had never gone on Soarin’ in all the years I’ve been going to Ecpot. My boyfriend finally convinced me to try it last weekend. I’m so glad he did. It was amazing, and I did not feel sick at all! I was ready to get right back in line and do it again. His 13 year old daughter and my 8 year old son loved it too.
